A podcast for the curious kind who seek wonder in the often overlooked details of nature, interested in creative practices & appreciate a slow pace.

To me, the term ‘creative practitioner’ encompasses a wider definition of work sphere. What they all seem to have in common, however, is seeking a response to their experience of nature with their own set of skills and talent. The word ‘creative’ according to the Oxford dictionary, means ‘relating to or involving the use of imagination or original ideas to create something’. And there is a slightly different definition in Collins dictionary that says: ‘A creative person has the ability to invent and develop original ideas’, it also suggests ‘creative activities involve the inventing and making of new kinds of things’, furthermore ‘if you use something in a creative way, you use it in a new way, that produces interesting and unusual results.’

Therefore, I would argue most human occupations have creative aspects, but may not have the space for creative expression. I will be talking to those, who have allowed that space and about how they did it. I understand both creativity and contact with nature to be essential human needs we all have.

My sincere hope is that you will enjoy and look forward to the conversations on this podcast and they will inspire you to go out and begin your own dialogue with nature.
